<p>Our Client is a 24 hour call centre that helps with any IT and web related inquiries. The main purpose of the job is to answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information.</p>
<p>You must be flexible as you will be working shifts.</p>
<p><strong>Pay: £6.81-£8.50</strong></p>
<p>Location: Leavesden, Watford</p>
<p><strong>Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>Answer calls professionally<br />
Respond to customer inquiries<br />
Research required information using available resources<br />
Handle and resolve customer complaints<br />
Provide customers with product and service information<br />
Enter customer information<br />
Process orders, forms and applications<br />
Identify and escalate priority issues<br />
Route calls to appropriate resource<br />
Follow up customer calls where necessary<br />
Complete call logs<br />
Produce call reports</p>
<p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p>
<p>Knowledge of customer service principles and practices<br />
Knowledge of call centre telephony and technology<br />
Six months or more experience in a call centre environment<br />
Customer service experience<br />
Good data entry/keyboard skills</p>

<p>Essential Skills/Abilities/Knowledge<br />
• Must have a working knowledge and understanding of parking legislation, codes of practice, and policies and the ability to use this knowledge effectively. – in particular Road Traffic Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004.<br />
• Previous experience of working in the area of processing Penalty Charge Notices is essential<br />
• Experience of prioritising new presentations as well as working on back log cases<br />
• Experience of working within Parking Services is essential<br />
• Ability to collate evidence and prepare submissions for hearings at PATAS and Court<br />
• Experience of using ICPS<br />
• Experience of working in an office based customer led environment.<br />
• Ability to respond to written enquiries and complaints, including preparing responses to MPs, Members and external bodies<br />
• Understanding of IT systems associated with a Parking Administration team, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, such as MS Office (Word &#038; Excel).<br />
• Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure<br />
• Willing to develop and acquire new skills and knowledge and to be responsible for own personal development<br />
• Experience of representing clients at Appeal Hearings and PATAS meetings.<br />
• Proven ability to resolve difficult and confrontational situations involving public dissatisfaction with an aspect of parking policies or practices.<br />
• Experience of Consulting with other departments, Local Authorities, Police, DVLA and PATAS<br />
• Ability to research and collate information, for use in management reports.<br />
• Ability to develop and present training packages in order to develop colleagues<br />
