Rough outline of tasks:
Pricing enquiries that we receive from either Bills of Quantities or drawings. Sometimes a site visit is require to enable to quote.
When an order has been placed, you would have to liaise with clients and installers.
Sometimes attending pre-start meetings.
You would be expected to run the project, sometimes several projects at a time.
The projects range from small to large jobs.
MD and other project manager will be Project Managing the larger projects. This consists of visiting site, preparing rams, ordering materials for the job (mostly materials come from stock from their warehouse so just completed an ex stock order) and placing the appropriate labour onto the project (whether that is inhouse fitters or external sub-contractors).
Ensuring the project runs smoothly without any snags and to time and that any extra works required are logged so they can invoice correctly at the end of the project.
