- Description
- My client is currently seeking a Highways & Enforcement Team Leader to assist in the management of the Highway Network in accordance with legislation as well as being responsible for 3 Highways and Enforcement Supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the coordination of the Street works throughout the borough.
- liaising with Statutory Undertakers, agents Emergency Services, Utility Companies and
contractors.
- Maintaining the public highway infrastructure in the area.
- Addressing/resolving problems affecting the operation of the public highway.
- Managing the enforcement team to address damage and illegal use of the highway.
Person Specification:
- A relevant degree or professional qualification/experience in Traffic & Highways and
environmental crime enforcement.
- To have undertaken or be working towards a relevant highways inspector competency training
programme is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working within a highways maintenance environment or similar, with
significant experience of streetworks or public highway inspections.
