- Unity Recruitment are currently seeking a Residential Support Worker to take on a full-time role within a leading Learning Disability Home in Epsom, Surrey.
An award-wining provider runs the home, which caters for up to 6 young adults with Autism, Down's Syndrome, Asperger's Syndrome, Learning Difficulties and Challenging Behavior.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
*Care for and enable young adults with Learning Difficulties
*Provide input into Care Plans, and follow each plan to provide resident-centered care
*Promote a positive attitude and encouraging engagement in activities
*Assist with visits and trips for residents
This is a full time role, paying £17,400 per annum/£8.81 per hour.
Applications from candidates with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent will be looked upon favorably, although this training will be offered by the company for the right person. In addition, regular courses will be provided to ensure that the team continues to provide a world-class service.
Candidates with Care Assistant/Support Worker experience and a working knowledge of Autism/Learning Disabilities Care would be perfect for this role. Due to the nature of the Home, we are keen to speak with candidates with excellent levels of experience and resilience.
