- Job Title: Stock Processor
Reporting To: Branch Manager
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 7:30pm to 5:30pm
Every Saturday 7:00am to 2:00pm
Salary: £18-20,000 Per Annum
Location: Finchley, North London
The Role
Duties
1. Purchase ordering
*Ensure stock items are ordered to specification
*Ensure stock items are kept up to the right level
*Ensure stock control is kept notified of stock levels
2. Chase up purchase order
*Ensure orders placed are in progress
*Chase suppliers for delivery of stock on order
3. Process goods-in paperwork
*Ensure orders which have been received are cross referenced
*Ensure paperwork is processed and registered on the system
4. Chase stock backorders
*Ensure orders which have been placed are tracked and monitored
*Contact suppliers for information and update system
5. Raise collection notes from customer
*Ensure deliveries which are returned are processed
*Ensure collection notes are registered on the system
*Ensure stock which has been returned is updated to stock control
6. Answering phone calls
*Answer non sales calls and filter them to appropriate colleagues
*Acquire product knowledge over time to be able to respond to queries
7. Clear Inter Branch Transfers daily
*Monitor and record all inter branch transfers
*Ensure transfer of stock between branches is recorded and reported
8. General Admin
*Ensure all paperwork is kept up to date
*Report on progress on various aspects through Excel report system
*Ensure adequate knowledge of all products
9. Banking
*Ensure the till in the Warehouse Office is cashed up at the end
Person Specification and Experience
*Experience in a similar role
*Excellent IT Skills
