- Visual Merchandise Assistant Manager Required for Luxury Store.
My Client, is looking for an assistant sales Manager with previous experience to work in their very prestigious store based Central London.
Salary: £30,000.
Bonus:Monthly Bonus scheme dependant on dept hitting monthly budget
Hours of work:35.5 hours per week 5/7 shifts.
Holiday:8 days per annum (includes Bank Holidays). Increases by 1 day every 3 years
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Management and responsibility of all Visual Merchandising Standards.
Maintain overall good knowledge of Brands & Products.
AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Visual Merchandising
* Manage the overall look of the department on a daily basis,
* Manage the usage of point of sale and ensure branding is relevant and visible on the
shop floor.
* Awareness of product availability and "Out of Stocks".
* Manage the implementation of any planning/organisation for any special events.
* Manage and plan sale set up/set down with use of planograms and brand adjacency
Awareness.
* Maintain a high level of housekeeping at all times.
* Ensure all brands/products/styles are represented on the shop floor.
* Regular communication with head office regarding new products/colours expected.
* Ensure up to date photos are taken of new displays and communicated to head office.
* Refresh displays to enhance the visual appearance of the department/walkway.
* Identifying and sourcing props for displays.
* Attend monthly walk through to discuss performance of brands.
* Execute merchandising and floor moves based on seasonal changes, business needs
and trends.
* Create and install special displays to promote specific products or product lines.
* Implement and apply Visual Merchandise guidelines provided by individual brands.
* Ensure the store environment has a welcoming and luxurious feel.
Customer Service and Store Performance
* Maintain and increase the sales figures of the store/concession.
* Ensure that sales budgets/targets are communicated to staff and the progressive
result of the store/concession.
* Ensure staff acknowledge customers quickly and offer friendly, courteous and
efficient service.
* Accountable for overseeing any large customer transactions, including large customer
orders over the phone.
* Be aware of competitor ranges and price points.
* Record and reports any missed opportunities.
* Ensure staff use and understand the 'Add on Sale' technique.
* Ensure that all staff has a thorough knowledge of all products.
* Ensure that all customer follow up is done promptly and efficiently.
* Ensure that any phone enquiries/sales are handled efficiently.
* Ensure that all staff have a thorough understanding of the company guest shop
format, and that this is used as a method of training.
* Confident in handling customer enquiries and complaints when required
* Ensure that the shop floor coverage is maintained.
Staff Management
* Maintain staff discipline and carry out investigations as required.
* Ensures all store and company rules and standards are adhered to at all times by
staff.
* Confident in delegating to staff.
* Ensures that the daily brief is organised and actioned.
* To be able to carry out performance appraisals.
