- Buying Assistant Required
Unity Recruitment are seeking a buying assistant for an engineering company based in Billericay.
Salary; Starting around £29k.
Roles will be temp with move to perm after 12 weeks trail.
Responsibilities;
*Selecting new products and reviewing the old
*Finding the right suppliers
*Negotiating prices (so we achieve the best price possible)
*Ensuring the products are delivered on time
*Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones
*Computer literate
*Booking in and checking of orders received
*Uploading / Scanning and filing of all documentation
*Undertaking site deliveries when required
*No more than 6 points on driving licence
Minimum Qualifications;
*Experience in a Buying / Stores environment essential.
*Education to GCSE Level
*Ability to self-motivate, manage and organize own activities and projects
*Report writing in clear and concise English.
*Basic PC and Email skills.
*Have a UK full driving license
