- Insurance - Account Handler Required.
Our Client, who offer a full range of insurance broking and risk management services for construction, commercial property, motor fleet and private client risks are looking to recruit an Account Handler. This position will be based at their head office in Watford.
Location - Watford Office
Salary - up to £30k
Experience - minimum 2 years insurance experience ideally in Real Estate &/or Construction
Role
*Supporting a Client Executive in administering renewals and mid term adjustments as well as new business enquiries
*To promote and support the Branch both internally and externally to clients, the insurance market and other third parties.
*To manage a shared portfolio of accounts including accurate preparation of presentations and report writing to both the market and clients.
*To provide support in the development of the Branch account from existing client contacts and new introductions.
*To maximize client retention levels.
*To actively cross-sell within the Company.
*Enquiries to be dealt as appropriate to experience and expertise with designated broking and placing as suitable
*Develop and maintain good relations with our partner insurers negotiating terms, rates and brokerage.
*Build relationships with clients by managing day to day handling of your account and visiting with Client Executives as appropriate.
*Ensure that you operate within the Company's systems and procedures with regard to service standards, quality of documentation, credit control and support of key insurance markets.
*To report to the Divisional Director on a regular basis in relation to all key developments within the Insurer Markets/ Commercial accounts; including business wins, losses, clients under attack, financial and other relevant issues.
Salary £30k
The successful candidate will be part of a busy, successful team and will need to be highly motivated and efficient. Ideally, we would like someone who is Cert CII qualified or will be willing to work towards this qualification.
