The role and the client
An excellent opportunity has come up in East London for a HR Manager to join a well-respected construction organisation with clear progression. The ideal candidate would hold a minimum 2 years' experience as a HR Manager or 5 as a HR Advisor looking to move up.
In order to be eligible for this role you must have experience within the construction or similar industries in your previous employment, furthermore it is essential that you either hold or are working towards a CIPD in Human Resources or a Masters in Human Resources.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop in the role as you will have great exposure and involvement in working alongside their current HR Manager, supporting them as you eventually progress to Manager yourself.
Excellent communication skills are required as you will act as the key communication link between the HR department and the business units
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
*Providing first line response to partners, managers and employees on all issues including ER
*Responsible for the HRIS
*Payroll duties
*Compensations and Benefits
*Recruitment for both Fee-earner and Business Support
Profile
The successful candidate will be/have:
*The ability to work effectively with and influence partners
*Strong interpersonal background
*Tenacity
*Previous background in the construction industry.
*Exposure to all HR Advisor duties
*Hold, or working towards, a CIPD in Human Resources
