- Our client are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to oversee website Sales and digital / social media marketing. You will be responsible for optimising website performance to boost sales and profit and enhancing the social media presence. The ideal candidate for this role should have previous experience managing an ecommerce team.
The Role:
*Manage and grow our clients ecommerce website.
*Working alongside an external agency, help oversee the company's digital marketing strategy, to maximise the conversion rate and drive traffic to the site.
*Work with external technical team to report any issues.
*Manage the promotions calendar and identify opportunities for collaborations to drive brand awareness and engagement.
*Use data to develop insights to enhance the customer journey and maximise sales opportunities.
*Obtain product information/pricing and images from suppliers and add to content management system so products are displayed to a high standard.
*Improve product pages, section and brand landing pages which include search engine optimized content and banners in line with other company marketing material.
*Make sure online products and prices are accurate and current.
Skills Required:
*Magneto 2 experience is advantageous.
*Dealing with complaints, involving investigating and solving customer problems.
*Compiling reports outlining complaints escalated to management, the actions taken and suggestions for improvement.
*Contact with customers via telephone and e-mail.
*Must have previous experience within a similar ecommerce role ideally with a focus on building materials.
*Previous experience in a number of digital marketing techniques.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Positive and enthusiastic leader with high energy who can work collaboratively with the wider team.
*Open-minded, flexible and positive attitude.
*Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with an ability to manage a varied workload, to tight deadlines.
*Organised and proactive approach to solving tasks.
