The role
Our client, based in Barnet, are a leading gift experience company. They now have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to gain experience in a dynamic environment, working within the acquisition team, which will provide exposure to all other channels such as, Affiliates, CRM and SEO, paving the way for a fruitful career within Paid Media and/or other marketing channels in the future
This is a hands on role and the successful candidate will be expected to help set up and undertake ongoing optimisation against clear ROI and budget targets for all biddable media campaigns (search, social, display) with an specific focus on Search.
Keyword Research, Ad Copy Creation, overall daily Campaign optimization, reporting as well as ad hoc Accounts benchmarking/competitors' analysis will be ongoing tasks on this role
The candidate will report to the Biddable Media Manager receiving guidance and support when needed, however it is expected from the candidate to be able to work autonomously and independently on any given task
Who we're looking for
Our client are looking for a business-savvy Paid Media Executive, who understands the impact of their recommendations and solutions in terms of KPIs and ROI
The candidate must have prior experience of working on large PPC accounts (Google Certified would be ideal) and sound working knowledge of key biddable platforms including Adwords, Bing, Gemini, Facebook and the wider programmatic media-buying ecosystem
Experience with any keyword bidding platform such as Kenshoo, Marin Software, Adobe Optimiser, Doubleclick would be a Plus
There can be quite a lot of "number crunching" involved so the candidate needs to be comfortable using Excel (pivot tables, formulas etc) and have the ability to pull out insights from datasets (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Internal Data warehouse tools, etc)
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and willing to learn within the exciting gifting/experiences sector
Requirements
*Minimum of 1 year PPC experience
*Highly numerate with strong Excel skills, and ability to manipulate large amounts of data
*Analytical thinking and research skills are a must
*Good working experience with Adwords and Google Analytics
*Able to analyze account performance against targets and provide intelligent insights
*Excellent written and communication skills/experience producing reports
*Excellent attention to detail
*Proactive and willing to test and learn new opportunities
*Passion for marketing / advertising
*Degree Qualified
