Internal Sales Executive
Position: Full time based at Finchley HQ
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, starting at 09.00am-5.30pm
Starting Salary: between £25K and £30K depending experience
Building Products are at the heart of our clients success and the foundation from which the organisation will develop in the next growth phase. Competition remains strong with uncertainties in the market for our stakeholders and managing their needs successfully will enable our client to deliver true competitive advantage via our negotiated supplier deals. A fine balance of competitive invoice pricing, rebates, favourable allocations and service will define whether members see value in our clients.
As such, our client are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive to build on the current successes and drive the building categories successfully forward. The remit is to improve the entire supply process from procurement and supply to merchandising and training through to customer sales and after sales.
OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
The Person:
We are seeking a tenacious individual, with at least 2 years' experience working in a sales environment. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate passion, drive and an aptitude for success through confidence, accuracy and team spirit. You should be capable of developing new business whilst strengthening relations with our existing customers. It is essential that you are comfortable in dealing with customers with the aim to easily identify their needs in order to maximise sales opportunities. The successful person will need to be able to work in a professional team environment, have good product knowledge skills, excellent time management, organised with good attention to detail and able to multitask.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, your responsibility will include:
*Achieve targets and deadlines set by management
*Building & maintaining strong customer relationships to drive the business forward
*Researching new business opportunities
*Listening to customer requirements to successfully generate deals
*Actively dealing with all sales enquiries, converting sales and offering appropriate upsells
*Any other duties required
