Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer (Car Parking Systems / Ticketing Equipment)
£22500 (OTE is £24,000) + Car + Benefits.
Location: Manchester and the surrounding area.
The client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of ticketing and payment equipment which is used in car parking facilities for Local Authorities, airports, conference centres, hotels and shopping centres. This well respected organisation has been supplying this marketplace for decades, establishing and nurturing long term relationships with a customer base at the forefront of technology.
We seek to recruit a customer focused and highly motivated Multi-skilled Field Service Engineer, responsible for developing customer relationships and servicing and maintaining a range of high value, PC-controlled capital equipment. The role will involve carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance, equipment installations, breakdown fault-finding and repair on a range of electronic and electro-mechanical systems utilised in ticketing and payment machines.
To apply you should have experience in a field service or technical support role, working on electronics, electro-mechanical or PC-controlled capital equipment. Ideally you will have a technical qualification and a good knowledge of fault finding to modular level.
You should have Electro-mechanical service skills, good PC hardware knowledge and a understanding of Networks. Any experience of repairing car parking or ticketing or fare automation systems would be beneficial.
Any exposure to coin-operated mechanisms, note validators, ticketing machines, payment machines, automatic barriers or gates would also be beneficial.

A starting salary of £22500 is accompanied by a package which includes company car, on call payments, phone and holidays.
Weekend Standby requirements (currently Saturday's one in two). A payment is made for standby and callout is paid at X1.5 time for the first 4 hours, X2 time there-after.
