- My client is currently seeking a Highways Enforcement Officer to join the Traffic and Highways Team to support in the provision, management and co-ordination of Street Works.
Responsibilities
*Managing permit applications
*Issuing and tracking fixed penalty notices when breaches of conditions are
identified by inspectors.
*Managing permit fee reconciliation monthly
*Investigating and gathering evidence relating to all environmental issues reported
on public and private land.
*Monitoring charge production work related to Defect and Sample Inspection fee charges.
Person Specification
*Previous experience in managing and issuing highways related permits is essential.
*A good working knowledge of "Symology Access".
*Experience of carrying out environmental enforcement in a similar role including
evidence gathering and statement writing and attendance at court.
*NRSWA City and Guilds Street works qualification is desirable but not essential.
*Previous experience of working within TFL rail environment or utility company would
also be considered.
