- Graphic Designer & Web Administrator Required
Our client is currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer & Wed Administrator to join their in-house digital marketing team. This company specialises in luggage.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for championing the design of new and exciting marketing campaigns, using stunning visual graphics for their websites, e-mail campaigns, social media and print media.
The suitable candidate will also be responsible for maintaining products on the e-commerce website; ensuring they are effectively merchandised, arranged in the correct categories and reflect the correct prices. Furthermore, they will oversee all aspects of online marketing including but not limited to offer codes / promotions via PPC and affiliate channels are up and running.
There E-Commerce department is in a very exciting period with the development of a Magento 2 website and we are looking for someone to help grow this important area as the business heads towards a "digital first" approach.
Therefore, the successful candidate must be willing to explore and learn new technologies to increase efficiency's within the department.
To be considered for this role it is ESSENTIAL that you have worked in a similar function for another online retailer or e-commerce company.
You must be confident working with Magento 1.7, Magento 2, Mailchimp and have a strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, especially with Photoshop, Illustrator &
InDesign.
In addition, those with a good knowledge of front-end web development such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript & jQuery will also be important requirements.
You should have an excellent command of the English language, some copywriting (e.g. writing email content) will be required and you will be the final point of call before content is posted to the website and other platforms.
POSITION OBJECTIVES
* Responsible for web & graphic (digital & print) content management of the e-commerce businesses and physical stores.
* 3rd point of contact for all customer online / telephone / chat queries.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Web Content Management
* Manage content for all websites.
* Work with 3rd party suppliers to design, build and maintain websites using primarily Magento & Wordpress.
* Work with 3rd party agents (web developers, SEO, PPC, Affiliates & Social) to implement new web landing pages, advertising, social campaigns to help drive traffic and overall conversion on our ecommerce sites.
* Design, create and manage email marketing campaigns the websites.
* Work with the Web and Merchandise teams to develop and prepare new and future products for online launches, including collating product data, acquiring/manipulating images, marketing materials and composing product descriptions.
* Clearly communicate solutions to team members both verbally and in written documentation.
* Liaise across departments to ensure that new brands, ranges, colours and styles are added to the websites.
Graphic Production
* Lead the design for new marketing campaigns.
* Creation of graphics for both online and print media including; website banners, newsletters, social media posts and in-store POS.
Customer Services
* Handling customer service queries.
* Assist with order administration, order despatch.
* Liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
SKILLS REQUIRED
* Excellent in Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
* Proficient in Excel and Mailchimp or equivalent programmes.
* A good understanding of front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JS) would be desirable.
* Some knowledge of video editing software (Premier Pro, After Effects)
* Computer literate and understanding of basic web technologies (FTP, browsers, data files)
* Familiar with data management
* Previous experience of website or e-commerce CMS (e.g. Magento & Wordpress)
* Basic understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools & Analytics
* Ability to deal with multiple issues and prioritise workloads accordingly.
* Excellent organisation skills.
* Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
* Work well unsupervised using own initiative.
* Excellent timekeeping, attendance, appearance and attitude.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
