- Stockroom Assistant Required - Luxury West End Store.
Unity Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced stockroom assistant to work in a luxury store in the West End. Involves heavy lifting.
Pay:£12 per hour.
Hours: Shift Work between 8am - 8pm.
AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Stockroom:
-Organisation of stockrooms including layout by brand and range.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in stockroom areas. This includes-care of the products and the placement of product on the stockroom fixtures.
- Ensuring on a daily basis that replenishment is carried out to the replenishment area, as well as onto the shop floor when required.
- Notifying management of any new stock deliveries to the store to allow planning of space on the shop floor.
- Processing deliveries that come to the store, this includes:-
1. Marking off product correctly to delivery notes.
2. Registering any discrepancies on case paperwork, and follow correct procedure.
3. Using the Fashion Master system to print tickets for Purchase Orders.
4. Ticketing product ready for the shop floor as well as stockroom.
-To be able to confidently carry out all dispatch duties in and out of the store in line with store protocol, as well as using correct paperwork.
- Assist in stock counts for merchandise office whenever required.
- Assist in planning and preparation of 6 month and 12 month stock takes.
Health & Safety
- Establish a good understanding of health and safety policies of the store and ensure that staff uphold these policies.
-Proactively dispose of rubbish on a daily basis from the stockroom areas.
-Highlight any potential risk areas to relevant personnel.
-Understand the correct stock handling procedures e.g. lifting and unpacking of boxes, using sharp instruments.
Administration
-Ensure that all tickets on products are correct to style and colour, and checked on a regular basis.
-Notifying management of any new POS that arrive to the store with deliveries.
-Maintain all paperwork and files at your workstation in a neat manner.
General
-Carry out or assist in any other duties as requested by area manager or head office.
-To maintain good relationships with a staff.
-Maintain the required standard of appearance and hygiene.
