Our client based in Park Royal are recruiting a trainee glass Processor.
7.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday
Our client is looking for someone who is hardworking and wanting a career working with glass. Candidate must be happy to drive our transit van for deliveries/collections from our customers on the odd occasion so we request a clean driving licence.
No glass experience necessary.
As a glass processor, you will be working in a factory setting and be trained on processing glass safely and accurately on several machines according to the daily workflow schedule. Your focus will be on:-
*Accurately measuring and checking glass sizes.
*Operating the company machinery.
*Manual handling glass.
*Quality control your own work.
*Routine cleaning of the workshop and basic maintenance of machinery.
*Compliance to the companies' health and safety policy.
*Reading and understanding works orders.
*Be prepared to carry out other duties if required.
*All other tasks associated with your role.
Personal qualities
*Can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
*Excellent time keeping is required.
*Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Be organised and have an eye for detail.
*Have clear communication skills.
*Be committed and reliable.
*Clean driving licence (for occasional van driving).
*Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
