- Unity Recruitment are seeking a part time HR administrator for our clients team based in Elstree.
Part time HR Administrator
Our client is a company that have sold designer luggage since 1923 and continue to offer the best luxury travel items available.
They are looking for a Part time HR Administrator to support the team. The hours will be 20 hours a week, preferably 10am - 2pm per day. This is an office based role.
This role is permanent part time role.
PART TIME HR ASSISTANT
Human Resources
*Assist the HR Director in issuing relevant paperwork to all new employees.
*Ensure all employees have provided proof of right to work.
*Ensure the personnel database is kept updated at all times. - Holiday, Sickness & Personnel details
*Assist in ensuring all appraisals are booked and taken at relevant times.
*Assist in obtaining references for all airport employees and collate all relevant paperwork to obtain security passes.
*Assist in arranging interviews with relevant managers.
*Assist in any disciplinary/grievance actions as and when required.
*Ensure staff productivity is monitored and productivity reports are completed each month.
*Confident in handling staff queries.
Payroll
*Assist in managing staffing levels in all of their stores.
*Assist in ensuring all rotas are received on time each week.
*Ensue all staff timekeeping is checked against weekly rotas and any concerns are highlighted to the HR Director
*Ensure all relevant paperwork has been completed for sickness/absenteeism by managers.
*Assist in all payroll functions.
*Confident in dealing with any salary queries, and ensure HR Director is updated.
*Ensure you are up to date with all HMRC guidelines.
General
*Maintain good relationships with all Directors and head office and colleagues.
*Maintain good relationships with all store Managers.
*Confident in speaking to Recruitment Companies
*Confident in speaking to Kingfisher Ltd - Employment Law Firm
*Ensure all information is always kept private and confidential.
*Carry out or assist in any other duties as requested by HR Director.
*To be able to deputise for the HR Director in their absence as required.
