- OVERVIEW
Due to a significant increase in workload, a new opportunity has been created within the business for a HS&E Advisor to join our clients HSQ&E Department. This is a role that will predominately be based on site, visiting multiple projects across the London & South East Regions. You will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of all HSQ&E procedures across their sites and permanent premises and report directly to the HSQ&E Director.
EXPERIENCE
* Ideally from a building contractor with a proven track record in site HSQ&E management on construction and civils projects
* Experience in working with safety, quality assurance and environmental management on construction projects.
* Comprehensive and working knowledge of all aspects of current UK safety and environmental legislation.
* Minimum 3 - 5 years' safety practitioner working with recognised UK main contractors. CORE SKILL SET
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to relate to people at all levels of an organisation.
* Excellent organisational and presentation skills.
* A committed team player able to fit into the existing structure adding value to project delivery.
* Persuasive by nature, able to convey a message clearly and effectively.
* Solutions oriented and able to bring new ideas to the table.
* Able to influence behavioural change. MINIMUM COMPETENCE REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE
* National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety and/or National General Certificate in Health and Safety
* Tech or Grad IOSH
* Current Trade Specific CSCS Card
