The role:
Our client are currently recruiting for the position of Sales Support Executive to join their dynamic and fast-paced business which has experienced substantial growth in the last few years having built strong relationships with leading construction firms, architects, developers and electrical subcontractors.
As a sales support executive you will be the first point of contact for their customers, external sales executives and warehouse team. This role is extremely fast paced and not for the faint hearted! Applicants must be dedicated, articulate, computer literate, un- shockable, and ready to take on new challenges each and every day. Being responsible for millions of pounds worth of merchandise being delivered, you will be expected to make important decisions in a high pressure environment, and get them right most of the time.
This is not a 9-5 job, and not for 9-5 people. You will not survive in this position without ambition, drive, stamina, determination and a natural desire to succeed in everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
*Dealing with multiple clients
*Generating and supplying quotations
*Processing large orders and call-offs
*Managing 150+ emails per day
*Understanding customer needs
*Managing large scale projects
*Preparing plans and processes to deal with larger accounts
*Delivering the highest standard of customer service
*Liaising with all other departments to achieve results
Qualifications & Skills
*Sales support experience - logistics/planning
*Experience within construction or manufacturing
*Excellent telephone manner
*Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
*Attention to detail
*IT literate - MS Office
*Ability to work as part of a team
*Ability to work under pressure
