Our client are a vibrant consumer exhibition and event organiser that specialises in organising national consumer shows. This fast growing dynamic company provides staff with fast track career progression with all staff being encouraged to engage in every aspect of running the exhibition.
The management team are highly experienced, credible amongst their peers and can draw on expertise from across the industry.
The Role
They are looking for highly motivated, committed and competent individual who is looking to become a top sales person in a growing company.
As a professional sales executive, the chosen candidate will forge strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
They should have a natural aptitude for sales and service, balancing the needs of achieving sales targets with meeting the needs of clients operating in industries with a strong caring and support culture.
They need an ability to work both independently and as a team player and must be able to demonstrate a 'can do' approach. The position will involve predominately outbound and inbound telephone sales with the opportunity to present face to face to new and existing clients.
Experience and Capabilities required
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following capabilities:
Primary
*Proven track record in telephone sales to existing and potential clients
*To focus on and meet sales revenue targets
*Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, partners and the rest of the show team
*Visiting clients when necessary/appropriate
*Ensure that all sales administration is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
*Producing mailings and general office correspondence
*Collating and producing sales plans and reports as required
Secondary
*Keeping abreast of market developments and identifying and researching new growth areas for sales
*Handling enquires on the telephone and by post.
*Working onsite during build-up, open period and breakdown of the show
*Liaison with the finance department to assist in revenue collection
*Visiting relevant exhibitions in the UK and overseas
Skills required

*Full time 37.5 hour week
Key Terms
*Permanent role
*Four weeks exclusive of public holidays and three-day Christmas holiday
Salary
*£24,000 to £26,000
*5.0% commission paid on all sales
*Year 1: Basic Salary + OTE £10,000
*Year 2: Basic Salary + OTE £12,500
*Year 3: Basic Salary + OTE £15,000
*Commission completely uncapped, successful people can earn more
