Job Summary
This position is responsible for New and Asset Refresh Installation/Projects area of our clients' business, this incorporates Car Access and People access projects. The position operates within a shared P&L and will work together with the Operation Manager ensure optimisation of the field engineering team.
Organisational Relationship
This position reports to the Managing Director. This position requires a close working relationship with the Operations Manager, Sales Director, Commercial Manager, Sales Teams and Finance.
The role would have direct responsibility for Installations, Sales/Project administration, Project Sales Revenue/margin, Project Stock, Logistics, and Project requirement Purchasing.

Installations KPI's 60%; policies and process 10%; budget/financial analysis 10%; employee development 10%; special projects 10%
Specific Responsibilities
*Responsible for a team of 4 - 6 project Managers and 2 - 3 administration staff.
*Responsible for overseeing the maximizing of efficiencies of Installation projects(time and margin).
*Responsible for co-ordinating overall implementation of BEST practices throughout the structure.
*Car Access and People access Project Management - As well as managing a team of project managers and admin staff, the Installation manager will also need to pick up a small amount of projects to self-manage in this role.
*Accurate, weekly Forecasting of the Installation Back Order Book (WIP).
*Oversee Health & Safety of all project related staff and subcontractors.
*Regular meetings/conference calls with the project managers and sales managers.
*Constant contact with our customers to handle all escalated issues on installations, receiving feedback on our performance and to discuss performance improvement processes.
*Ensure we maximise our Labour recovery, by accurate input of data into the company ERP system. (I.e. timesheets to be completed for all staff within the team).
*Attendance of required regular and ad hoc internal meetings and conference calls.
*Oversee management and appointment of Installation subcontractors (including spend).
*Understanding of the opposition strategy and keep informed on technology developments within our product areas.
*Monitoring and reduction of operating costs and working within agreed budgets.
*Administration of overtime, expenses, holidays and sickness is managed in an efficient and timely manner.
*Implementation of Corporate Strategic direction in the business, and to communicate a clear vision of the future direction and role of the team
*Participate and support annual appraisal process, development and training for all Installation staff.
*Participates regularly in special projects as required by the MD.
Location
The position will be based at our Head Office in Harrow , London
Travel and customer/site visits nationally within in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Island is required).
As small amount of Overseas Travel particularly in Europe is also required to attend meetings.

Education/Experience
*Degree or equivalent required
*3 Years Senior Project management or Installation team management.
*5 years' experience in overall team management required
*Project management qualification and SMSTS an advantage
