Our client is a world-renowned supplementary education provider offering maths and English study programmes for children of all ages and abilities. There are currently over 70,000 students studying at 650 franchised study centres across the UK and Ireland.
They are looking to recruit a Designer to join their established in-house Design team within the Brand Marketing function of the business. This role will provide graphic design services to internal staff (Associates) and their franchisees (Instructors)
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
* Designing online and print marketing materials including, but not limited to, campaign materials, manuals, newsletters, brochures, leaflets, event branding and presentations
* Continuously offering creativity in order to produce new ideas and freshen up current material, transferring basic designs into eye catching creative solutions
* Interpret briefs and provide concepts to suit their purpose
* Taking the lead on all commercial signage projects for our study centres
* Be a mentor to the Junior Designer and provide support to the Lead Designer
The successful candidate must have:
* Proven experience in a similar role (i.e. Creative Artworker or Graphic Designer), which they can illustrate through their portfolio
* Confident and competent in the use of a Mac and Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office suite
* Experience in using Dreamweaver, Flash, Adobe After Effects, HTML and Prezi is a bonus but not essential
* Strong communication skills to liaise with printers, project managers, designers, agency personnel and other marketing specialists
The interview process will consist of:
1. Initial phone interview with the hiring manager
2. If successful you will be invited to attend an orientation meeting/assessment morning, in a centre around the country, all expenses paid. The assessment morning will not be solely based on tests, but also presentations
3. The final stage will be a presentation followed by a Q&A session and a face-to-face interview
