- Job Purpose:
Our client are leading accountants for contractors, providing Limited Company accountancy and Umbrella Services. For the past 25 years our team of umbrella experts have provided over 50,000 contractors with compliant support and guidance, excellent customer service and straightforward, easy-to-understand advice. They offer the best advice service. This key role is within the admin function is to ensure all set ups are dealt with within SLA deadlines & accurately input, constantly monitoring improvements to the delivery service. The role will also consist of auditing expenses. Expenses claimed are applied to their payroll system ensuring the contractor has full benefits of using their company as their umbrella provider, supporting the payroll team and customer service (as & when required) to ensure we meet our obligations and ensuring a good experience for the contractor.
Main Responsibilities:
*Setting up new people in our CRM system.
*Ensuring all required documents has been received and accounts updated.
*Liaising with contractors and agencies over missing information.
*Processing of contracts, set ups & terminations
*Handling reference requests
*Monitoring Admin queues within our CRM System
*Raising and crediting invoices
*Handling timesheets
*Processing expenses
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
You'll need to be a people's person, as you will interact with all levels throughout the business, to help them in their daily jobs.
Be able to balance your own workload whilst able to help out with extra requests to support the payroll team
*Ability to work as part of a team yet self motivated and target driven
*Excellent multi-tasking ability
*Good computer skills, excel, word
*Basic payroll legislation knowledge desirable (not essential)
*Fast data entry skills, accurate & good attention to detail
*Methodical & Organised
*Good written & oral communication skills
*Ability to prioritise
*Basic understanding of Accounting
*Desirable but not essential understanding of Tax and National Insurance contributions
Hours and Environment:
Full time, you'll work 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, we operate opening hours from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday & 8am to 12pm on Saturday, you should be flexible enough to change your hours to suit the business needs.
