- Unity Recruitment are currently seeking a Residential Support Worker to take on a full-time role within a leading Learning Disability Home in Hayton, Nottinghamshire.
Run by an award-wining provider, the home caters for up to 10 young adults with Learning Difficulties. This spacious and modern home is set in 3 acres of land, and has every facility needed to make it an warm and enjoyable space for residents and staff alike.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
*Care for and enable adults with Learning Difficulties
*Provide input into Care Plans, and follow each plan to provide resident-centered care
*Promote a positive attitude and encouraging engagement in activities
*Assist with visits and trips for residents
This is a full time role, paying £17,400 (£8.81 ph).
Applications from candidates with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent will be looked upon favorably, although this training will be offered by the company for the right person. In addition, regular courses will be provided to ensure that the team continues to provide a world-class service.
Candidates with Care Assistant/Support Worker experience and a working knowledge of Autism/Learning Disabilities Care would be perfect for this role.
