Rail Electrical Supervisor

Rail Electrical Supervisor

Dedicated teams of professional electricians maintain railways in the UK. A rail electrical supervisor is a person who manages a group of these electricians. The supervisor is held accountable for all aspects of the rail project related to the electrical team. Rail supervisors also manage project documentation, regulate budgeting, and provide technical support.

The rail electrical supervisor often works in a permanent location. For example, a supervisor may be part of a team that maintains train signals for a particular railway. Other rail supervisor positions involve overseeing construction or maintenance at various job sites.

Electrical supervisors play a vital role in UK rail operations. Employers carefully screen applicants for this position.
