Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: 28- 35 depending on experinece
Hours:8.30am to 18.00pm.
Working for an established property management company in the Hertfordshire area, we are delighted to be recruiting this exciting role for a "handyman".
Below is an overview of the role to allow you to assess your suitability for the role before making a formal application.
We are looking for a reliable, professional "handyman" to work across all our locations performing daily maintenance, decoration, furniture moving, plumbing and electrical works based on the on the requirements of the Centre Managers.
It is a truly varied role; the type of work will change often on the same day, but you will be kept busy across the centres. Normally based at the same centre every day however this can change and in URGENT situations you may be required to visit several centres in one day.
Key Responsibilities:
*General Building Maintenance
*Painting, Wallpapering, Decorating, Picture Hanging etc.
*Electrics - Basic Electrician qualification preferred.
*Plumbing - Basic Plumbing qualification preferred.
*Partitioning - using plasterboard and office systems to build office units within the building.
Must have:
*Good understanding of Office Air Con / Heating & Cooling Systems.
*Furniture Moving - relocating of desks and other objects form offices.
*Weekly Fire Alarm & Emergency Light Testing.
*Gardening / Salt Spreading / Litter Collecting when needed
*Van Driving when needed.

*Discreet
*Organized and with excellent time management skills
*Efficient and proactive work ethic.
*Basic IT literate, specifically Outlook and Email.
*Ability to work alone or as part of a small team.
*Flexible and adaptable - you will be working across numerous locations.
*Ideally with a background in building and maintenance works.
*Must have own car
*Clean (max 3 points) UK driver's license required.
