Description: Experienced Warehouse Operative
The Role
Our client are currently looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operatives to work in their busy Yard in Welham Green, Hertfordshire. Candidates will be provided full training prior to commencing work. These roles are full-time and permanent positions, with alternative Saturdays
Job Responsibilities
As warehouse Operative you will be expected to carry out the following duties;

Proven track record as a licensed counterbalance forklift driver in warehouse work.
Operate forklift to lift items to and from high levels.
Security checks and endorses all goods loaded on goods-out vehicles against delivery notes.
Goods against hand written or manually altered delivery notes must not leave depot unless approved by the branch manager.
Collect picking notes from the transport office and initiate picking process for subsequent runs in an order of priority.
Ensure picking notes are correctly completed and signed off by the respective picker.
Goods-out vehicles are safely and securely loaded (no over or uneven loading).
Collect first run picking notes for next day from the transport office at 2:00pm.
Collect picking note for IBT from the transport office at 3:00pm.
Loading of all goods-out vehicles should be completed before closing of depot.
Check and verify goods collected by visiting customers.
Place all documents in a correct location in the office.
Keep all working areas clean and tidy at all time.
Requirements
Must be experienced forklift driver
Must have valid UK driving licence
Must be located within 10 miles radius of Welham Green
Package
£21,500 - £22,880 depending on experience
20 days holiday, + 8 bank holidays
